Research from NWEA's MAP Growth assessments — tracking millions of students — shows that without summer support, students lose a meaningful share of the academic gains they made during the school year, with math regression outpacing reading and losses widening with age. For neurodiverse learners, the gap can be even more pronounced. The good news: it's preventable.

Phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, and morphology-based vocabulary. Built for dyslexic and reluctant readers, and rich enough to advance strong ones.

Test Prep

ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, SAT, and ACT preparation. Strategy plus content remediation plus test-day mindset — the full picture.

Educational Therapy

Targeted intervention for learning differences — executive function, attention, working memory, self-advocacy, and the academic resilience to keep going.

What parents ask us most.

My child has been diagnosed with a learning difference. Are you the right fit?
Yes — this is at the center of what we do. RIC was built for neurodiverse learners, including students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and processing differences. Every lesson is multisensory by design, and we collaborate openly with your child's school team, educational therapist, or psychologist when helpful.
What if my child doesn't have a diagnosis but is just struggling?
Equally welcome. Many of our students are bright kids who've fallen behind, lost confidence, or simply haven't been taught in a way that matches how they learn. We start by listening — not by labeling.
Do you tutor neurotypical or advanced students too?
Absolutely. Our methodology is rigorous enough for accelerated learners, test prep at the highest tier, and students aiming at competitive entrance exams. The tools are universal — the personalization is what changes.
Are sessions in person or online?
Both. We serve Westside Los Angeles in person and offer online sessions with the same multisensory approach — we use shared whiteboards, manipulatives, and screen-share tools designed for tactile learners.
How long are sessions and how often should we meet?
Sessions are 60 minutes. Most students benefit from 2–3 sessions per week through the summer. We'll recommend a cadence on your discovery call based on your child's goals and your family's schedule.
How do payments and scheduling work?
We use TutorBird's parent portal for scheduling, lesson notes, and secure payment. After your discovery call, you'll receive an invitation to set up your account — it's straightforward, and you can manage everything from your phone.
What's your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24-hour notice for cancellations. Same-day cancellations are billed at the regular rate, with limited exceptions for illness or family emergencies — we use judgment, not rigid rules.
